Coloplast improves customer service after Fellow Consulting’s solution to build an enterprise Data Warehouse in the cloud
Coloplast is a large provider of healthcare products from Denmark. Developing business on Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Wound & Skin Care and Interventional Urology, the corporation operates globally and employs about 12,000 people strong. Their mission is to offer products and services that make life easier for people with personal and private medical conditions, creating solutions that are sensitive to their special needs.
Present in more than 100 countries, the company has a huge amount of data which multiplies every day, coming from different sources. However, before our solution, this data was not fully integrated and could not be analyzed properly for decision making and customer service improvements.
Fellow Consulting provided a solution that built a data warehouse architecture based on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Data from various sources like ERP and CRM was consolidated, transformed and computed. The data warehouse was fed daily with dozens of millions of records, coming from a variety of sources and formats, which allowed Coloplast to build fancy reports all over the company across all software systems and data sources.
Having all the information consolidated in only one place, Coloplast managed to have a more assertive vision for decision making and, consequently, improved customer service.
